You say we are not lovers

You say you love me,
But we are not lovers,
You know how I feel about you,
But you say we are not lovers,
I see love in your eyes,
But you say we are not lovers,
I hear love in your voice,
Yet you say we are not lovers,
We chat like lovers,
You claim we are not,
Our late night calls,
Only lovers do that,
You do not want to hang up, neither do I,
But you say we are not lovers,
Shall I trust you words or your actions?
One betrays the other,
Are we lovers?
You say we are not; you act like we are,
Your words deny but you act your heart,
How long shall you deny what your heart feels?
Shall I wait in limbo?
You put me in a trace,
I fear to snap out of it and find you follow your words,
You call me sweetheart, I call you honey,
Are we not lovers?
How false can words be?
You say we are friends,
I do not deny,
But friends don’t have what we have,
Friends are not crazy like we are,
We are friends, we are lovers,
The heart is seldom wrong,
It will not hurt to listen to it,
Follow your heart they say,
Follow your heart I say,
This can be beautiful,
We can be lovers.

Love and let love

How deep does this love go?
Where does this path end?
What is in for me?
How bad can it get?
What will people say?
Is it worth fighting for?
All this math I overlook,
Off the cliff,,
Lets fall in love!

I will love again,
My dear desolate land has blossomed again,
Come take my hand,
Lets walk this path of love,
Let me take care of your heart,
As you love me I will follow,
My heart is yours,
Come lets love all over again!

You my love, my heart has chosen,
This love, our Love,
May God bless and keep,
Love, love my heart, love with all you are,
My heart faint not to love your lover,
In your faults and in your strengths,
Love my heart, love and love the more,
What can be more beautiful?
What can elate this heart as much?
Love and lets love.

The beauty is in the difference

You like passion, I like pineapples
I like classy, you prefer simple,
Expensive goes for me, cheap and good works for you,
You fast for 21 days, I struggle with three-am still working on it
You like books, a movie for me any day,
You love meat, I don’t,
I can’t stand the music you like, I listen anyway
You read, I write
You sell, I buy
We are not the same
We are not born the same,
We are made the same,
What you missed is what I got,
The days are not the same,
Twins may be similar but not the same,
We differ in language, in preference, We are different,
Breathe the same air, under the same sun and moon,
Yet we differ,
We however find a common ground,
To agree we are different is the start,
Appreciate the difference is the other,
The beauty is in the difference,
You sing, I play
You run, I swim
You’re bold to fight, am skilled to plan
Strong in might, witty in mind
A hot winter, a cold summer
The beauty is in the difference I say,
All similar would be boring
What you lack is what I have,
That way we’ll need each other,
The secret is difference,
The beauty is in the difference.

Passing cloud blocking my sunshine

This is but a passing cloud,
You slowly move to block my sunshine,
I feel you blocking my sunshine,
I see you blocking it,
You think you've won?
You forget-you are but a cloud,
The earth is on a journey,
To move is its curse,
I will most certainly move,
You won't be long,
I will be kind to say goodbye,
I will watch you pass,
I will see the sun again,
My sunshine kissing my skin again,
You are but a passing cloud blocking my sunshine.

*Nothing is forever.Whatever bad or good that comes into your life, remember,This too shall pass.Only God is there forever.*

The gifts my days bring

One day at a time they sang,
I agree, one day at a time,
Live the moments, live each day on its own,
Love each day on its own,
No day dawns as the other,
Though the sun be one, though the moon shine the night,
None is like the other,
Each day with its own troubles,
I will live this day, I will conquer this day.

One day, two days, three days...
On and on they pass,
I will not fret, they draw me closer,
Closer to my end, farther from my start,
My end is near, my past is farther,
Destiny calls, days draw me near,
Nearer, closer I get to my destiny, my end,
My past is far, my destiny is close,
One day at a time, one day at a time.

The day and its troubles shall come,
I will live on, my end is not today,
Tomorrow is another day,
Closer I get, farther I go,
I am strong, I believe so, I know so,
No day will outweigh me, I will conquer the day.
Closer I get, farther I go,
The troubles teach me, I learn,
My heart will learn, I will not run,
I fall today, I rise tomorrow,
Closer I move, my destiny beckons,
Today is not enough, I long for tomorrow,

My days bring me lessons,
They bring me trouble and joy,
Am overwhelmed but I live on, one day at a time,
There is grace for each day, strength for each day,
Though it runs out at times,
The will to see another day will carry me to tomorrow,
I end not today, tomorrow awaits me, I cannot fail,
The author of the days has written my tomorrow,
I have my part to play tomorrow,
I do not end today.

Today I live, tomorrow is another day,
The gift my days bring,
I live on, I do not end today,
The days are good, the days are evil,
Still I live on, I do not end today.

This life we've known

How today rises is not as tomorrow will,
Though sun shines for all,
It’s not the same for all.

This life,
I will sing a song,
My heart is intrigued,
A song will do.

What cry goes unanswered?
What course is without a purpose?

In this life, this world we've known.

Vanity!! the wise man said,
All is vanity, a chase after the wind,
What then is life?

What is man that life has found him?
That he’s seen the good and evil of the day,
While day’s trouble will come,
He finds pleasure still, in his troubled days.

While no one knows the day to come,
All awake to meet it anyway,
Though it may hit hard,
We rise again and prepare for the next.

This life we've known,
This world we know,
The good exist and so does the bad,
None is flawless,
None is complete,
This world we know,

This life we've known.

My dear desolate land

A cup of hot chocolate,
Two sugars and the latest copy of the dailies,
Am all set for this.
A few pages down, I love my hot chocolate,
Sip sip my cup is halfway down,
I flip over and there’s this story, “Old and still in love”,
My mind wonders away,
To a land now so desolate,
Once lovely and lively,
Now lies bare earth and shrubs,
This land remains untilled for some time now,
Though my land, I wish not till it,
I once did but bore no fruit,
I will not, I wish not to till it,
I have since found other grounds to till,
I leave this bare,
It brings me turmoil
Once dear, now bare
It has rejected my efforts to make it bring fruit,
I rest my case, I will toil not anymore,
My doleful heart finds pleasure in a new land,
They’ve tilled their land till old age,
Mine young fertile land lies bare,
I find no strength to till it,
Grace be upon me,
Let I find fruit in my new land.
