This I want

There is little, there is much,
I am well, I am faint,
I am happy, am not happy,
Tomorrow will be great, today was crazy,
I apologize for that, you can go to hell,
The food was great, that drink was awful,
I finally did it, I wish I could,
Dusty road, nice car,
Let’s start all over again, am tired of this,
I’ve had enough, I can’t get over this,
The sky is clear, crazy chilly today,
I prefer longer, short is better,
The world is big, global village they call it,
I love summer, winter is coming,
So much that one can do, there are no jobs,
I like loud music, books are amazing,
I like this, that is better,

What has befallen us?

The rain will shine,
The sun will fall,
Greatness in small,
Pretty poor,
Rich and sorrowful,
The strong will fall,
The weak will rise,
The clouds will pour,
The dust will rise,
What man will be?
What man shall stand?
The meek will rise,
The haughty be stricken, 
I hope to see the day,
To see the end of the day,
Justice fails,
Injustice wins,
What curse has befallen us?
Free in chains,
Bound in freedom,
Happy in lack,
Sad in plenty,
What curse has befallen us?
Rejoice in evil,
Strain in good,
The day is dark,
The night is brief,
The world is small,
The days are evil,
When will good befall us?
When will justice find us?
The days bring hope,
When will these days come?

I will not regret

I will not regret
It didn’t go as expected,

I am disappointed,
But I do not regret,
Everything happens with a reason,

How do I start again?

I had you, you were mine,
Now you’re not,
I begin again,
I knew you, you knew me,
We were close,
Now we’re not,
I begin again, so do you,
We re-write our story,

Re-arrange the future,

Replace and replace,

It is not you anymore,

Forget and start again,
Our past doesn’t matter,
Better days lie ahead they say,

All I take from you is the memories,
I will remember you as I walk away,
I walk away not because I don’t care,
What we had was special,
But now come a time,
A time when one need take their path,

Re-writing our fantasies,
How do I replace you?

There shall be an uplifting

Only they that fall get to rise,

Only they that are down need rise up,

An uplifting shall occur,

Our onus is to wait and watch as it happens,

Stand our ground and watch there be an uplifting,

Though I be down today, an uplifting shall occur,

I will raise again,

I will soar to higher heights,

What can be more hopeful?

An uplifting, a rise to higher,

Dust off and prepare,

An awakening shall occur,

Prepare as the witnesses prepare as well,

The skies be your heavenly witness,

The moon to testify by night,

An uplifting shall occur,

Lest any man doubt,

The hand of the Most High has struck the valleys, they rise to level,

We walk no more in shadows of men, the Most High be our God,

We walk under the shadow of the Most High,

An uplifting by His hand,

Though we be down today, tomorrow we rise,

A new day brings a new hope,

We rise today, we rise tomorrow,

We hold on to the promise,

There shall be an uplifting.

It’s okay

It’s ok to not like something,
It’s ok to feel mad,
It’s ok to love, and sure much ok to be loved back,
It’s ok have a crash on someone,
It’s ok to want to let go,
It’s ok to reach your limits,
It’s ok to want out,
It’s ok to not suffer anymore,
It’s ok if you feel hurt and betrayed,
It’s ok, you can get over it,
It’s ok to not fight anymore,
It’s ok to not hang in there anymore,
It’s ok to demand an explanation, and if none is coming,
It’s ok to want out,
It’s ok to not be the one pulling things together always,It’s ok to want to be pampered,
It’s ok to disagree at times,
It’s ok to not be the punching bag,
It’s ok to want to tell them to go to hell,
It’s ok to get tired,
It’s ok to want your peace,
It’s ok to not stomach it anymore,
It’s ok to want something else, something beautiful, something different,
It’s ok to be someone meaningful, or want to be,
It’s ok to have your dreams and ambitions,
It’s ok to want to reach somewhere,
It’s ok to be where you are today, better days lie ahead,
It’s ok to be down at times, that way you appreciate the highs,
It’s ok to not always want what they want,
It’s ok to be different,
It’s ok to set your boundaries,
It’s ok to be disappointed at times-how strong is your heart anyway?
It’s ok to want that and not this,
It’s ok to think about them at times,
It’s ok have some wishful thinking moments,
It’s ok to wonder what it could have been,
It’s ok to miss them,
It’s ok to say goodbye,
It’s ok to have enough,
It’s ok to live your life.

The Good to Come

I waited patiently,

I almost lost hope,

What I knew faded away,

The truth was not so clear anymore,

Charged I was at the start,

The quest for the vision was more vigorous and attentive in my heart,

I saw no impossibility,

I saw it all come to pass,

Little did I consider the path to it,

The beauty of the end mattered more,

No cost was too much to pay,

“I will get there…I will have that…I will be like that…”

This was me at the starting line,

Little did it hit me, you don’t appear there, you walk there,

And who said it would be easy?

The process matters,

The process shapes us, preps us for what to come,

The process breaks us to make us,

We faint, we hurt, we wait,

We lose, we are broken, disappointed,

No one said it would be easy,

It’s not clear anymore,

Where is your hope now?

You come to doubt what you’ve known to be true,

Waiting is not easy,

Patiently waiting, is not either,

But He is faithful,

Though it linger, it shall come,

Set your eyes on things above,

Write your vision in caps,

Though it linger, do not lose it,

There is hope for the living,

Every dawning day is a chance to get there,

We will find good, in the land of the living,

Though it linger, good shall come,

Find us in our place and overwhelm us,

The good to come, now it comes.
